The use of brettanomyces can result in a funky flavor profile. Examples include Jolly Pumpkin Perseguidor,〔()〕 Avery 15〔 and Brabant, Ommegang Ommegeddon. Individual styles can vary from "light or dark, hoppy or malty, strong or sessionable, barrel-aged or not".
